First thing I did was dissassemble the knife and put the handguard on "backwards" so that it protects the fingers when the knife is gripped normally.

Cocoa Thunder is Adam's knickname. Used our Marking Methods 300 to etch it. Worked alright, but one layer of black paint and it's abssolutely invisible. Not sure why it did not etch evenly. Maybe the electrolyte solution or the stencil we used was too

Painting the metal parts black. Why? So it's "cool" and "tactical." :)
Also, this is an easy finish to touch up in the field, if needed. Just spray some more black paint on it as needed.
